Jewish Federation of North America (JFNA) is seeking a strategic, visionary Vice President of Finance/Chief Financial Officer rooted in data analytics, to set the tone for future growth leading the finance department and expanding the leadership of this highly successful organization’s mission. **VP Finance/CFO role can operate in DC or NYC

Summary of Duties

Oversees and directs budgeting, accounting, tax, audit, long range forecasting, and risk management for all divisions of organization.
Analyzes operational issues, ROI on strategic programming and evaluates their impact on the financial posture of the organization.
Responsible for the integrity of all financial systems and information to ensure business processes are efficient and effective, and adequate internal controls are in place.
Responsibility for financial reporting and accounting department.
Directs and coordinates preparation and execution of the budget.
Maintain and direct financial policies and procedures as they pertain to financial monitoring controls, implement improvements as required.
Works closely with the Board of Directors and Executive Director on strategic vision and planning as well as executives of decentralized operating units.

Requirements

Minimum 4-year degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance, CPA and/or MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a take charge, self-starting attitude.
Proven track record as a data driven visionary that is also willing and capable of dealing with day-to-day accounting issues.
Strategic thinker cultivating a growth-oriented environment.
